The NW WAKESURF ASSOCIATION will be hosting the First Annual NORTHWEST WAKESURF OPEN August 28-30, 2009, on Lake Sammamish, Washington. This will be the first ever wakesurfing competition in Washington State and it will be sanctioned by the WORLD WAKEBOARD ASSOCIATION. This three-day event is expected to draw many of the nation’s premier wakesurfers. See nwwsa.org for more details!

I've heard that the World Wakesurf Competition has been canceled this year. Is this true?
ReplyDeleteYes, it is true. Worlds has been canceled this year. That means that the NWWSA Open could be THE most important wakesurf competition of 2009!
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone have the email contact information for the competitors from worlds last year? This would be a great alternative to Worlds this year once the word gets out.
